PIPL Summary: On Bodie Island Spit we have one active nest and one nest in the process of hatching. On Cape Point we have no new nests, no unfledged chicks, and seven fledglings. No PIPL breeding activity has been observed on North Ocracoke. On South Point we have one fledgling and one active nest.

Wilson’s Plover (WIPL) Summary: No new activity.

American Oystercatcher (AMOY) Summary: We currently have a total of ten AMOY broods, one active AMOY nest, and fourteen fledged AMOY chicks. Bodie-Hatteras District has six AMOY broods, one active nest, and three fledged chicks. Hatteras District has three AMOY broods and six fledged chicks. Ocracoke has one AMOY brood and five fledged AMOY chicks.

Bodie	7/2	Pedestrian	Two sets of bare footprints entered the Bodie Spit closure above high tide line. Tracks continued into the closure above the tide line for ~1 mile and then exited the closure along the same path.

	7/2	Pedestrian	Ten sets of footprints went into/out of closure near large overwash south of R55.
	7/2	Pedestrian (via boat)	Four pedestrians were inside the Cape Point closure shelling. They came ashore from a boat.
	7/2	Pedestrian, Dog	Two pedestrians with dog (on leash) walked around closure on the E side of R45.
	7/5	Pedestrian	One set of footprints entered a turtle closure.
Ocracoke	7/4	Pedestrians, Boat	A boat carrying 8 individuals landed on the sound shoreline near South Point. Pedestrians were observed (from a distance) onshore for 15 minutes, then they left.
