The NPS wants us to get the word out about access at Cape Point.

There is a turtle nest on the North side of the point with a full beach closure , the bypass around it is very soft sand and several vehicles have gotten stuck. The NPS would like to remind everyone that access on the south side of the point is open. Take a right just over ramp 44 and you can access the point via the interdunal road from the southside.

It's an easier trip that way, especially if you don't have a good bit of ground clearance.
