PIPL Summary:  At Cape Point, three nests have been documented.  Scrapes continue to be observed/maintained on Cape Point and South Point.  The nest on South Beach has been abandoned but new scrapes continue to be observed in the area.

Wilson’s Plover (WIPL) Summary: WIPL breeding behavior has been observed on South Point and possible scrapes have been found.

 

American Oystercatcher (AMOY) Summary:  Bodie-Hatteras District has four pairs of AMOYs with nests and four additional potential pairs.  Hatteras District has six pairs of AMOYs with nests and four pairs on scrape territories. Ocracoke has two pairs of AMOYs with nests and four pairs on scrape territories.
